Lynn Tincher, born just outside Louisville in La Grange, Kentucky, is a multifaceted author and entrepreneur. Her passion for writing ignited in high school when her English teacher shared one of her short stories with the entire student body. This early encouragement led her to study Theater Arts at Eastern Kentucky University, aspiring to become a Drama and English teacher.

Over the years, Lynn has authored several articles for local magazines and online platforms. Inspired by writers like Nora Roberts, J.K. Rowling, and Greg Iles, she penned "Afterthoughts," the inaugural novel in the Mind Bending Series—a psychological crime saga following Louisville Police detective Paige Aldridge. In 2008, Blackwyrm Fiction published "Afterthoughts," a milestone that earned Lynn a feature in Leo Weekly. The series expanded with titles such as "Left in the Dark," "Buried Deep," and "Where There is Light." The fifth installment, "Junna," is slated for release on February 22, 2025.

In 2013, "Afterthoughts" was optioned for film adaptation by Kilted Pictures and Dancing Forward Productions in Los Angeles. Currently in pre-production, the movie plans to film in Louisville, with Lynn serving as Executive Producer—a role through which she aims to showcase local talent and her beloved city. The short film production won a Remi Award as well as being selected for several Film Festivals. The award winning script was featured at Imaginarium.

Beyond her writing career, Lynn is the Founder and Executive Director of the John B. Tincher and James L. Calvert Independent Literary Foundation. She is also an award-winning indie bookstore owner, a writing coach, and the founder of the PenCrafters Writing Mentorship Program. Additionally, she serves as the Publisher for Stardust Romance and From the Ground Up Books Publishing. She also served as an Executive Board Member for the Louisville Literary Arts. Lynn also founded the Literary Lynnch Pen that is featured in the Oldham Era.

In 2022, Lynn became the Associate Publisher for Stardust Romance, an imprint of Hydra Publications, where she is dedicated to expanding the imprint's offerings. Her community involvement includes participation in the Louisville Women in Business for Good, the Louisville Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women, Greater Louisville Inc., the Louisville Film Society, and the American Heart Association. She has been featured in Today’s Woman, the Louisville Courier-Journal, Leo Weekly, Wave 3 Listens, the RoundAbout, and the Oldham Era.
